Sustainability Means Thinking Not Just Of Today’s, But Equally Of Future Generations. We Create Timeless Pieces Of Jewellery To Be Worn Out Of Love And Inherited With Love.

Since our beginnings in 1888, the ethics and consistency which today are implied by sustainability have always been fundamental to our ethos and entrepreneurial activities. As one of the oldest and most well-known wedding ring manufacturers in Germany, we consider social responsibility, reliable procurement of the best materials and economically sensible production as integral to our promise of quality. The MAX KEMPER philosophy rests on three principles:

1. Responsibility
Towards Our Employees

Over four generations we have run our company in collaboration with a first-class team. Our joint economic success and sustainability has ensured job security and our ability to remain 100% manufactured in Detmold – an important aspect of our brand identity. All our rings are manufactured in the historical Detmold factory, from design and production down to the very last finish.

2. Responsibility
Towards Nature

Nature continues to bear the gifts of wonderful materials with which we work – diamonds formed over billions of years, gold and platinum that have been the most precious materials for millennia. We work with great respect for valuable raw materials and use suppliers specialized in the recycling of these materials.

3. Responsibility
Towards Our Customers

Our workshops are supplied exclusively by companies that are either certified with the Fair Trade Seal or meet the high international standards of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). Our materials are meticulously inspected and sourced for their ethical origin, classified by both the Chain of Custody (CoC) and the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).
